Downtown Tucson is getting into the Halloween spirit! As costumed crowds make their way downtown, Congress Street will transform into a pedestrian-friendly space for Halloween night. From 5 p.m. Saturday, October 31, through 3 a.m. Sunday, November 1, Congress Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Toole Avenue to Scott Avenue. Sun Link and Sun Tran offer a convenient way to get to downtown without the hassle of driving. Leave the driving to us!

The Sun Link Streetcar will service all stops along its route from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. Since the streetcar will remain in service through downtown, we remind our riders to be safe:

• Watch for approaching streetcars
• Use caution when crossing the tracks
• Never cross in front of a moving streetcar
• Follow posted signage

Due to the street closure, the following Sun Tran Routes will be on detour:

• Route(s): 2, 12, 16, 21, 23
